Burberry’s first ever “see now, buy now” show raised a lot of talking points, but one that is making headlines in the aftermath is a black line worn by Cara Delevingne. Yes, a single black line, drawn from chin to sternum.
Sure, important shifts in fashion promotion and retail happened at the Burberry show. But Cara’s clavicle divide is also a thing that happened, and important questions must be asked of said things. Questions including (but not limited to): What? What is that? Who’s idea was this? Is this what we’re doing now? Is it wrong for me to like it? Did she take her inspiration from Seth Rogen in the critically acclaimed film Neighbors 2?
It remains to be seen if the clavicle crack will take off like the ab crack or six pack, but knowing the power of Cara Delevingne (lest you forgot the model has the ability to effect Google algorithms and tweezer sales with her eyebrows), we wouldn't be surprised if people took the plunge and started scrawling black liner between their breasts in lieu of layering on a drop necklace. The big question that remains: Do you use a ruler when emphasizing your cleavage (or lack thereof)?
