Backstage at Versace, Guido Palau snipped bangs into “stick straight hair” on “glamazons” like Vanessa Moody and Carmen Kass. “It instantly babies them out,” he explained of the supers’ freshly shorn fringe. If you’re not ready to the break out the scissors but still want to perk up your face, Pat McGrath has an answer—and according to the makeup artist’s Instagram, it’s coming soon. The platinum pigment strategically popped around catwalkers’ tear ducts offered an instant wake up call for tired eyes. (And at this point on the fashion month circuit, sleep-deprived models and editors alike will take any help they can get.) Generating the same amount of buzz as McGrath’s first-born golden child (Gold 001) isn't going to be an easy act to follow, but we have no doubt this silvery little sister will be nothing short of the second coming.
