Summer may be a prime time for reinventing yourself via a major chop or daring dye job, but if you’re Cara Delevingne, why not seize the moment (and PFW) with a dramatic makeover? Case in point: The peroxide blonde bob the supermodel-slash-actress unveiled last night in Paris.
Delevingne, who’s kept a fairly low profile since appearing in Suicide Squad, joins a slew of A-listers (like Zoë Kravitz, Allison Williams, and Katy Perry) riding the platinum wave of late. (While many are reporting that Perry's pixie by hair pro Chris McMillan was inspired by her breakup with Orlando Bloom, we think bleach—a chemical notoriously tough on strands—was the bad guy in this relationship.)
Delevingne’s shimmery new hue came care of colorist Nina Kairouz of Mare Salon in West Hollywood. For her night out in the City of Light, the super put a quirky spin on her white-hot hair with a deep side part (a major hair trend for Fall 2017) and a twisted plait courtesy of hairstylist Jen Atkin. Delevingne completed the look with a pinstriped suit (reminiscent of the one worn by Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice) and a swipe of silver highlighter across her cheekbones. Despite changing up her color, the super kept her signature bold brows (i.e., unbleached) intact—because some things (unlike most Hollywood romances) are forever.
