Bella Hadid has scored yet another major contract: Nike. She replaces Karlie Kloss (who recently made the move to Adidas) as the athletic brand's tie to the fashion world. The model announced the news through Instagram, and while there are no specifics outside of a fancy new billboard in Manhattan, she did promise that more was to come. Not to mention, if anyone is going to inspire us to slap on some spandex and sneakers and just do it, it's Bella and her smokin' hot bod.
During the Spring 2017 season, the super ran the fashion marathon—stomping countless runways from New York to London to Milan. Hadid also revealed to Fashion Unfiltered backstage that she doesn’t train with anyone in particular, but burns calories by running, as it "relieves a lot her stress." That being said, considering her profession (which puts emphasis on her physical attributes), she didn’t seem to be too preoccupied with working out: “I think that we’re just running around so much, I think that kind of keeps us fit, because we’re working all the time,” she told FU. “I like to just keep snacking throughout the day. I try to eat a good breakfast in the morning, and somehow eat a good dinner at night.”
Nike has a whole host of Olympic athletes currently repping the brand—including Serena Williams, Simone Biles, Allyson Felix, among others—which might be a bit intimidating for the man or woman who simply wants to slip into their Calvins (another campaign where you'll find Bella) without having to lay down on the bed. Who knew this newly minted Victoria’s Secret model could actually be the most relatable ad option?
