Big changes are coming to Coach menswear. Specifically a move in both time and space—WWD reports that the brand will now show its menswear collection in New York during its women’s shows. Previously, the brand held four shows a year (two for men’s and women’s respectively), and the menswear shows took place in London during men’s week. But going forward, Coach will show twice a year, joining the ranks of Gucci, Burberry, and Bottega Veneta in holding a mix-gender runway presentation.
“But wait,” you said. “Did Coach not already present a menswear collection for Fall 2017?” Indeed, it did, during its 50th anniversary show, which featured looks from its men's Fall 2017 and women's Pre-Fall 2017 collections—on one runway, no less. Apparently, however, some looks were held back from the collection to be presented at the upcoming show.
Coach is scheduled to present at New York fashion week on February 14.
