Citing memories of childhood trips to the Balearic Islands, Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson announced today a new collaboration with Paula’s Ibiza. Known for its flowery interior and nature-inspired prints, the famed store's cult following and client roster, which has included everyone from Donna Summer to Valentino Garavani, made it the epicenter of Ibizan style throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Fittingly, the new womenswear capsule, made exclusively for Spring 2017, includes dresses, skirts, and tops, all heavy on prints and vibrant hues. (Armin Heinemann, the co-founder of Paula’s, provided a selection of original prints and garment designs from the store’s archive.) Additionally, there’s a range of hats, wallets, scarves, and bags, the latter of which are riffs on Loewe’s most popular styles—think the Puzzle bag and the T pouch—that were given the Ibiza treatment with colorful parrot motifs. Towels and espadrilles are included, too.

To celebrate the collaboration, Loewe and art and design agency M/M (Paris) are producing a limited-edition publication featuring images of Heinemann’s farmhouse and apartment in Ibiza, all shot by Jamie Hawkesworth, the lensman behind campaigns for Alexander McQueen and Anderson’s eponymous label.
Loewe’s Paula’s Ibiza collection will be available online at loewe.com and matchesfashion.com from April 28 and will arrive in stores at Bergdorf Goodman starting May 8. Consider your vacation wardrobe search complete.
