Fans of Nicopanda and good bargains alike have an opportunity to do some shopping for charity, courtesy of Nicola Formichetti.

This weekend, the designer will hold a special pop-up sale titled “Nicola’s Garage” in New York.

“It just felt like I’ve been collecting so many things over the years. I have so much stuff, and also so many amazing things that I don’t use anymore, and there will be other people that will appreciate [having them] more,” the stylist and Diesel artistic director said. “Also, if you can make a little bit of money for a good cause, I’m all for it.”

The “good cause” in question is the American Refugee Committee, to which proceeds from the sale will be donated. The organization works with refugees and displaced people around the world to help survive conflicts, and also rebuild their lives. “It’s something that I discussed with my team,” Formichetti said of the choice. “We’re all immigrants, and we all want to help that cause.”

In addition to Formichetti’s personal items, and archival works, fans can find Nicopanda stock from as far back as Fall 2014 on sale, with prices ranging from $5 to $5,000.

Of course, there were some pieces that were hard to part with. “All the stuff that I made or customized for shoots and videos is always something special, because it’s one-of-a-kind—one-of-a-kind pieces are very sentimental,” he said. The pieces also include items from music videos for the likes of Lady Gaga and Brooke Candy. “But [now], other people can enjoy it too. I just had [them] in my closet, and in the studio closet. So why not make it into a fun event and have them find another home?”

The sale will take place from 12pm to 6pm, this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Tribeca at 50 White Street. All three days will feature DJs, including Formichetti himself on Saturday. Don't miss out.
