Makeup fiends will be happy to learn that Lancôme’s newest cosmetic collaboration will be with Olympia Le-Tan, a Parisian designer tapped specifically for her “feisty vision of women,” according to a statement from the beauty brand.
“Olympia Le-Tan designs combine poetry and joie de vivre,” Lancôme’s general manager Françoise Lehmann said. “A bridge between different eras, they reflect the spirit of our time, celebrating the free and personal beauty of each woman.”
Outside of an August 2017 launch date, no details regarding the limited-edition collection have been released, but words like “sexy”, “vintage”, and “glamorous” are being thrown around, if that gives you a hint. Considering her affinity for quirky themes and details, we here at FU are deeply interested in what Le-Tan will do with the packaging. (Fingers crossed for hand-embroidered makeup bags and compacts reminiscent of the designer’s signature book clutches). We’re also hoping the vibrant violet lipstick sported by model Duckie Thot in Le-Tan’s Fall 2017 Hitchcock-inspired lookbook is part of the deal.
