Just as H&M debuts its Kenzo collaboration, Target is announcing a new fashion partnership of its own with none other than Victoria Beckham.
Beckham will design a limited-edition collection for the retailer in the vein of her Victoria, Victoria Beckham line. This will mark the first time the designer will be partnering with a fast-fashion retailer, for which she will produce both womenswear pieces and children’s wear (another first).
The collection will feature over 200 items, which will range in price from $6 to $70. Perhaps most interesting is the variety in sizes, which will start at XS and go up to 3X. Beckham’s Victoria line usually stops at a size UK14 (10 in the US), but if the response to Target collection is positive, hopefully she will consider expanding in her main lines.
Target has been increasing its partnerships with high-end fashion designers over the years to much success. Past collaborations have included Jason Wu, and most famously Missoni, which sold out in record time.
Images for Victoria Beckham for Target have yet to be released, but the entire collection will go on sale online and in store April 9th, 2017.
