It seems like Tommy Hilfiger‘s on a world tour. After showing his 2017 collections in L.A. and London, the designer is heading to Italy for his next see-now, buy-now spectacle. In what’s sure to be an all-out fashion week finale, Hilfiger will show his menswear and womenswear collections in Milan alongside more collaborative pieces with Gigi Hadid.
While Hilfiger’s colllections skew more towards commercial salability than conceptual show-stoppers, the American designer’s been adding wow factor by staging unforgettable events. Fall 2016 saw a star-studded “Tommy Piers” carnival in New York, while this year’s L.A. and London shows featured Coachella and rock concert themes, respectively. The designer has yet to announce his Milan venue or other details, but one can safely assume he is planning a high-impact, interactive, content-friendly event that showcases not just clothes, but the Tommy Hilfiger life.
As with the past few seasons, Hilfiger fans will be able to purchase his latest pieces immediately after the show. With the Hadid-boosted hype, and given the success of recent seasons, that merch will surely vanish in a star-spangled flash.
