William Buckley

Originally from London, in his younger years, William was a famous chef in various greasy spoon cafes across the U.K. As the west got health conscious and fried eggs were supplanted by poached ones, William's inability to master that precarious poach saw him struck off. One afternoon, in one such cafe, a game of poker and a twist of fate—William won two tickets for a trip on a gigantic ship across the Atlantic to New York City, where he fell into fashion (quite literally, tripped and landed in the lap of the fashion editor at New York Magazine). A stint there was followed by some reality TV, and then a few fashion directorships. One of these led him to Pitti Uomo in Florence where he met Fashion Unfiltered's founder Katharine Zarrella over Aperol Spritzes and Italian ice cream (shh...don't tell fashion)—le reste, as they say en France, est l'histoire. When he isn't tripping the fashionable light fantastic William can be found at home in pajamas trying to perfect his poached egg. William is also writing this bio in the third person, which makes him uncomfortable. His favorite color is blue.
